The Monero (XMR) has reached very high levels making it difficult to reach minimum pool payouts. Difficulty has increased significantly due to the popularity of browser mining scripts and botnets. If you look at the network distribution of hash power you will see a significant portion cannot be identified to known pools.
The reason is botnets don’t need to use pools as they are their own pool due to the enormous hash power they command. As such, in order to increase the hash rate you get from PeerHash, we’ll need to increase the heartbeat from 3 per hour to 5 or 6 per hour to help you reach your minimum payout sooner. We’ll add this to version 0.04 beta so stay tuned for an update over the coming days/weeks.
